This listing is for one of two hand forged Nakiri. Forged from a Shirogami 2 high carbon core, nickel silver shimmed and stainless steel jacketed billet of San Mai, the blade sports a nice hand forged distal taper, with hollow ground bevels over a laser thin edge. The perfect knife for cutting vegetables!
The handles are made from African Blackwood for the bolster and Birdseye Maple for the handle, sanded to a smooth satin finish and waxed.
