Custom order all finished up, a Damascus San mai Big Boy! This one has an apex ultra core at 66 Rockwell, with a 1095, 15n20 and nickel silver jacket. The handle is made with dyed and stabilized spalted burl for the bolster with an African Blackwood
Rough ground tanto, tsuba and spacer filed to fit, now to make a habaki and get the handle fit and shaped. Taking my time with this one, a little work here and there. Should make for something quite special!
