Made from 52100 high carbon steel with a botanical image of Dalbergia melanoxylon, the tree African Blackwood is harvested from, engraved on the left face of the blade.

Paired with an African Blackwood handle, g10 spacer and milled Olive micarta bolster.

The Big Boy is one hefty blade, the weight of the blade alone, paired with its fine and sharp edge, does most of the effort in slicing ingredients. Perfect for vegetables and boneless protein prep (you can cut pretty much anything except for extra hard ingredients like thick solid bone, sugar rocks, concrete…)
