7.5” Gyuto hand forged from a dirty wrought iron clad, 26c3 high carbon steel core paired with a dyed and stabilized black ash burl handle with mammoth tooth spacer.
This blade has a nice forged distal taper, starting around 3/16” at the heel and tapering down to zero at the tip. A very hard and thin edge runs the length of the blade, perfect for fine finishing work.
