Blade is forged from O1 high carbon steel, paired with a three piece G10 spacer and stabilized and dyed red/black maple burl handle.
This blade is nice and hefty, it has a substantial spine with hollow ground bevels and a thin edge. A fantastic workhorse for the kitchen.
