Ever wanted to swing a hammer on hot steel? This is a great intro class to get a feel for blacksmithing, learn the basics of forging and make a super fun and functional piece!

This class can be taken as a private class or in groups of up to three, bring some friends and share the fun of blacksmithing!

In this one day class you will learn the basics of forging, tapering, punching, drawing out, stamping and hot-wax finishing.

Classes will be scheduled after they are paid for, Usually hosted Monday through Friday! Feel free to reach out with potential dates before purchasing to make sure the dates you have in mind will work!

You’ll learn how to forge by hand on an anvil with a hammer, how to shape hot steel, tong control and what different types of hammers are used for and how to use them most effectively.

This is a one day class, usually taking 3-4 hours. Generally starting at 10AM and running until finished (usually 1PM). If ahead of schedule we can possibly forge two!

Please do not purchase a spot in this class unless you know you will be able to attend!

This class is non-refundable!! You can reschedule one time as long as you give me 48 hours notice prior to the class, rescheduling more than one time or with less than 48 hour notice will incur a $100 rescheduling fee.
